Meet The Crew!
Tim, or as he’s usually called Quigs, was asked one day by Matt (aka The Source) if he wanted to do a baseball podcast in early 2022. As someone who isn’t shy about his voicing his opinion on anything baseball (or anything sports related) he figured it would be fun to debate his favorite sport with some friends, and thus the journey began with Just a Bit Outside.
Quigs is a graduate from IUP who, ironically enough, was involved in sports shows for both the schools TV and radio networks. He also had a short stint of doing play-by-play for the Crimson Hawks women’s basketball team for WIUP-FM his senior year.
When he’s not doing a show, Quigs likes to spend his free time listening to music or finding a good podcast to listen to, messing around with his guitars, playing with his dog, and annoying his wife with poorly timed jokes and bad humor.
Quigs has been a Phillies and Eagles fan his whole life. His favorite baseball player of all time is Jim Thome and his favorite football player of all time is Brian Dawkins, who as us Birds fans like to call him, Weapon X.
